Venture
With luck, this will be the start of a new adventure. I was fortunate to meet Richmonder Tracy Schwartzchild, a fellow Wahoo (class of ’70, my brother’s class — I was ’72) and former lawn resident (36 East Lawn, I was 48 East Lawn). Tracy bought a 2001 Beneteau 411 (41 ft.) sailboat and was looking for crew. We have plans for some extended trips that I will chronicle here if they happen. So just a short post with a few pictures.

Tom, welcome to the boating world.. Hope you do investigate the Great Loop. Wife and I built a 28 ft Bluejacket , out board powered Pilot house cruiser. Finished in April 2014 and departed Amelia in May for our first loop. May 2015 we completed 7500 miles, 143 locks and had a great time. September 2021 we hope to depart and do it all again with a few different stops.. As a side note, my daughter has a Sabre 36 on Lake Ontario.
